I hope you are well and had a good Easter.
Could I please say how much I enjoyed reading Mike's book and how interesting it was and an eye opener too. Mike has been very clever in having "other" interests that have given himself and his wife and family financial security. I bet other people wished they had been that wise to prepare for the future.
Thanks for everything and long live 60's music.
Love Jane

Hi Mike,
We both enjoyed the concert in the Philharmonic on Good Friday especially your spot and you should have been on longer.
It was good to chat with you after the show and thanks for personalising your book for Ed, even though it was already signed.
We hope to see you on stage again very soon.

Dear Mike
First of all I'd like to thank you for a wonderful show at Southsea last night. For me you were the star, although the Merseybeats came a close second I have to say. But even more I want to thank you for being a real star after the show as well. I'm the man from Aberdeen who wanted to get an autographed copy of your book but was on the point of leaving empty handed because there was no facility for accepting bank cards. I was really impressed with your act of trust and generosity when you signed and gave me the book in front of you. It was seeing that side of such a famous man that prompted me to tell your wife that she was very lucky.
You said to contact you at this email address to arrange payment for your book so please let me know how to do that – I can send a cheque, give you my card details, or transfer the money to a bank account.
I really enjoy autobiographies - recent ones have included Rod Stewart, Cheryl Cole and Sir Alex (I doubt that a Liverpudlian would read the last one, but it really is a good read and full of insights) and I am looking forward to reading about the person behind the Searchers who were one of my favourites during those awesome Sixties.
You mentioned last night that Aberdeen is on your current tour and I see the show is at the Music Hall. I used to go there regularly with my dad in the Sixties, not for music shows, but to watch wrestling which was really big in those days. You may remember some of the names we saw there - Jackie Pallo, Mick McManus, Big Daddy.
Anyway, I have rambled enough so once more thank you for a great show and please send me payment details for your book.
With very best wishes to you and your wife and for the continuing success of your current (and hopefully future) shows.

Great show last night at the Symphony Hall
Sorry I didn't say hello after. Your voice is still fab. Loved Solitaire. Hope to see you next time.
Why was Billy J so nervous?

Thanks for a great show at the Phil last night. A pity your slot wasn't for longer. It was great to hear Solitaire again after all those years and you can still hit those high notes the same as you did in 1973! Well done.
I hope you sold a lot of books on the night, as all Searchers fans should ensure that they have a copy.
I look forward to the next gig.
Best wishes
Ian

Hi Mike
It was a great show at The Embassy last Saturday. You were great as usual and I enjoyed every song. Love Potion Number 9 is my favourite. We were looking forward to B J Kramer but didn't recognise his voice and didn't know much of what he sang and his movements seemed very wooden. So a major disappointment. Thank you for signing your book for me and having a photo (which I will email later) taken with me. I realise you must all be getting very tired so please take care. Love Jane.

Fab show. Mike Pender amazing, great rendition of Solitaire a show stopper. The Merseybeats...wow, great stuff.
Billy J Kramer should have stayed in the States! Plumb, shiny suit, more like an ageing club turn! Uck.

Hi Mike
Gordon and I were at Leeds Grand Theatre last night and thoroughly enjoyed the show. You were the star turn and your rendition of "Solitaire" was fab-u-lous.
Best wishes Gordon and Sue
