Hi, I would just like to say that I think that your music is fab!!!! I don't know if you will remember but my husband (Jason Comfort) played a gig with yourselves at the Blue Peter in Derby. He has now gone solo and sings some of your songs(which are great!) I know it's a long shot and I know that you are all so busy but you said to that young boy at the time who was a lead guitarist, don't give up as you're really good!!

Well he never did and now he is a solo act. It would be a great honour if you could google him jasoncomfort.com and see how far he has come thanks to you!!

Mike Pender. My Gosh. Who would have known that in the future I would be able to correspond with you directly, My Big Crush. The Searchers were one of my favorite groups. I have fond memories of sitting around with my best friend Janice, listening and singing your songs. There wasn't a song you performed I didn't like. It's good to know you are still performing and bring pleasure to others as you did with me. Thank you for all the joyous times you gave me and still do. The best of everything to you, Mike.

My sister and I used to come to your concerts in the early 90's, when we lived in London. I was so sad to hear of your son's passing. I was very shocked. Mike Jr spoke of Nathan fondly. Best wishes!

Mr. Pender, I just found your late 70's stuff for the first time in my life just after finding your site here and having already shelled out about a year ago for the first five albums from the Merseyside era. I gotta tell you, absolutely incredible power-pop in the vein of Big Star but completely original and unique, wonderful harmonies to top it off. Absolutely love it! Great work, I go back and listen to your albums constantly! The Byrds were obviously influenced by you guys, I hear a lot of their chords progressions and arpeggios in your first 3 records.
