Saw Mike as part of the Sensational 60's show in Nottingham last night. Phenomenal performance which took me back to the 60's.
Thanks for the music Mike.

Hi, love to see and hear you perform Mick but that Rickenbacker guitar don't sound as good as when you played the Burns Double Six a sound lost to those of us at a certain age that remembered, I watch an old favourite vid ( what have they done to the rain) and you glanced over to John with a smile that said we've arrived, brilliant, thanks Dave.

I've been bingeing on British Invasion hits for several weeks now, and The Searchers were as good it gets. I was only eight years old in April of '64, but my brothers and I watched The Searchers become one of the few Brit bands to make history on The Ed Sullivan Show.
Much respect & affection to the great Mike Pender, and his timeless 12-string Rick sound!
