Mike, thanks for the great night at the Savoy, Blackpool.

Just arrived back from the Savoy Hotel at Blackpool where I went to see a 60's Music Festival with various 60's artists and tribute bands. I was also there the previous year attending the same thing. But the reason I returned again was simply Mike Pender's Searchers. The first time I saw Mike Pender was when he was with the Searchers and that was about 48 years ago at a place near Newcastle Upon Tyne where I live. I have been a fan all these years, but it was not until recently that I noticed MPS were playing gigs I could go to.

I thoroughly enjoyed the night he was on in the Savoy and as soon as he entered the venue the whole audience applauded him before he even got on stage, so it shows he is still popular after all these years. He sang a lot of different songs this year and some original ones and he was great. Also what I find about Mike Pender he is a very nice person and would take time to talk to his fans. I have noticed he is touring all next year with the Solid Sixties and he will be applauded well wherever he goes, and will be playing for years to come, and I personally will be going to as my gigs as possible.
